Booking Terms and Conditions

Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions as agreed to at the time of booking.
  • A contract between you, Montalero Cookery Ltd and the owners will come into existence when we receive payment and accept your booking by issuing a confirmation of booking for the holiday dates requested. The contract binds you & all the members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these booking terms & conditions. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking.
  • A deposit is payable at the time of booking. 8 day courses €950 per person, 5 day courses €550 per person and 3 day courses €450 per person. If the holiday is cancelled before 60 days from the arrival date, a full refund will be made.
  • Bookings made less than 60 days before your arrival date must be accompanied by the full amount of the holiday charge.
  • The balance must be paid so as to arrive no later than 60 days before the commencement of your holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation and the client will remain liable to pay the balance of the holiday.
  • All cancellations must be immediately notified by telephone and then in writing. If you cancel your holiday more than 60 days before it is due to start, a full refund will be made. If you cancel less than 60 days prior to the holiday then the full balance remains due and is not refundable. However, if requested, we will postpone the booked date of the holiday to an amended date within one year from the original booked course date, at no additional cost and always subject to availability on the revised dates. The postponed holiday may also be transferred to family and friends, but may not be resold.
  • We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance. If you choose not to then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

In accordance with Italian law, we are not obliged to provide a refund under the above circumstances, but we may reschedule the vacation to another date subject to availability, at no additional cost and limited to the same vacation package as originally booked and agreed to be provided by Montalero Cookery Ltd. This explicitly excludes all other travel costs, including flights and third-party accommodation. Guests unable to return to Italy should file a claim with their insurance company. If a guest files a claim and receives payment from their insurance company, the above postponement offer is no longer available.
  • Your booking will not be cancelled by Montalero Cookery Ltd, except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control.
