VEGETARIAN COOKERY CLASSES
Classes will be run by RosaRegina®, aka Valeria & Simona: two sisters passionate about healthy cooking.
“In our family we have always cooked: our grandfather chef he was already running a home catering business in the 1970s. In 1990 our mother Nadia opened a shop with Simona of herbal medicine and natural foods (The garden of life – Asti). Our ethos: let’s revolutionize our diet and organize the first courses for macrobiotic cooking. RosaRegina was founded in 2016 with the goal of sharing our idea of cooking. We want to dispel the myth that vegan and vegetarian cuisine is an unhappy, tasteless and incomplete diet through colorful, mouth-watering dishes, suitable for everyone. The name RosaRegina? It is the union of the names of two of our great-grandmothers, because for us cooking is family, it’s bond, it’s tradition.”

WELLNESS
Giulia our yoga teacher will be leading the masterclasses in the 7 chakras, the yoga sessions and the workshops throughout the week – Daily morning and evening classes.
“I practice and teach different styles of yoga with passion and enthusiasm. I have a studio in Asti and one in Turin that I share with some collaborators. Having spent several years abroad, the practice has become my “feeling at home”, wherever I am. Teaching, I try to convey this discipline as an opportunity for personal investigation and to bring the essence of this discipline into my everyday life. I am a certified teacher of Ashtanga-Vinyasa yoga, Yoga for pregnancy, Yin yoga and meditation. Every year I try to deepen my knowledge by participating in some new training course, with yoga you never stop learning!”

Come and stay with us
We’re Christopher and Kaarina Watkins and if you share our passion for Italian food, wine and culture, then we’d like to invite you to enjoy our Italian Food and Wine Experience in one of the country’s undiscovered regions – Monferrato. Monferrato’s part of Piemonte, which is now being called the new Tuscany for lovers of food and wine. So, while it’s not as well-known as other parts of north-west Italy, we think its culinary heritage is just as rich. We discovered and fell in love with Monferrato more than 25 years ago and, after countless visits here, it’s where we now live in a romantic medieval castle – Castello di Montalero. And we hope you’ll join us here as our guest on one of our Italian Food and Wine Experiences.
